Franco is gifted physically, with great eye-hand co-ordination. He has played very high in our line-up since arriving as a transfer several years ago. Franco's doubles game is just now reaching the level of his singles, as he becomes a more valuable player on the team. Franco is a good student in the college of business.
2008-09: Went 7-14 at No. 1 singles ... Was named to the All-RMAC third team in singles ... Led the team in double (8) and overall (15) wins ... Was named RMAC Player of the Week for Mar. 25 as he went 4-0 against College of Idaho and Bethany (Kan.).
Liberty University (2007-08): Went 2-2 in singles and 2-2 in doubles.
Personal: Son of Gladys and Oscar Valdez ... Was ranked No. 10 for boys U-18 in Peru ... Valdez is majoring in Business Management. |
